LifeWorks Wellness Center The Best in Natural Medicine
LifeWorks
Wellness Center, in Clearwater, was founded in 1997, by Dr. David Minkoff and
wife Sue, as a center for integrative and holistic medicine and oncology. Now,
one of the largest alternative medical clinics in the U.S., people travel here from all over the world
for treatment they can’t find where they live.
LifeWorks’
ongoing mission is to provide the best quality healthcare to every patient who
seeks treatment with integrative medicine and deliver the most effective
natural treatments available, in tandem with empathy, care and thoughtfulness
from a most select and highly trained team. LifeWorks prides itself on being
leading edge in the expansion of wellbeing.
In
2000, Dr. Minkoff founded BodyHealth, a nutrition company offering a unique
range of dietary supplements for the public and practitioners. Passionate about
fitness and recently at 71, Dr. Minkoff completed his 43rd full
Ironman Triathlon and qualified for the Kona world championships eight times.
He devotes time to his wife of 50 years, their three children and eight
grandchildren while also researching and writing. He recently wrote an Amazon
bestselling book, The Search for the
Perfect Protein, is writing his second book, and writes two online
newsletters each week—The Optimum Health Report and the BodyHealth Fitness
Newsletter.
Dr. Minkoff graduated from the
University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1974 and was elected to the prestigious
Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Fraternity for very high academic achievement.
Board certified in pediatrics, he completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases
at UCSD and served as co-director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at
Palomar Medical Center. He was an ER physician for 12 years.
