My amazement grows with each monthly edition
of this magazine. The cutting-edge news and words of empowerment are truly remarkable.
So, here we are, Tampa Bay, feeding body, mind
and spirit. Savor each moment.
This month, writer April Thompson’s “No-Waste
Garden Edibles” (page 36) takes an inventive look at health benefits available
through home and neighborhood gardens, and how to make those benefits your own.
In the search for healthy alternatives, it simply makes good sense to expand
knowledge of the many edible plants around us and to reap those benefits wisely
and self-sufficiently.
Denver-based health writer Ronica A. O’Hara
delivers a welcome dose of insight in “Strong and Healthy: Five Ways to
Strengthen Kids’ Immunity” (page 32). This article looks at connections in our
evolution as individuals and as a species that highlight the crucial importance
of maintaining, nurturing and respecting the crucial role of the immune system.
It’s good to know.
Please take the necessary precautions to stay
safe. These are challenging times but the indomitable spirit alive here on the
west coast of Florida will overcome. It’s a victory well worth fighting for.
Consider the healing possibilities.
In all ways, with
an open heart and mind, read on.
