At a young age, LaToya Woodley had a keen interest in spiritual healing, natural medicine and herbalism. Her grandparents were gardeners and the concept of using food as medicine was ingrown. Additionally, her grandmother had a knack with making pain go away with just a touch; Woodley admired and yearned to learn that as well.

 

Her healing journey began with an initial attunement to Usui Ryoho Reiki in 2006, improving her life and teaching that we are so much more than just physical bodies. On the subject of holistic healing, Woodley states, “I've always wanted to share it with others to help them in the way it has helped me. One way to do that and reach many was by becoming a licensed bodyworker, and so I did, in 2011.”

 

On May 31, 2021, Hands That Heal Massage Studio LLC, owned by Woodley and husband Billy, held its grand opening. Located in Northwood Plaza, at 3001 Eastland Boulevard, Suite 7, in Clearwater, the studio allows Woodley to draw upon her array of techniques and modalities to customize each massage experience, assisting clients with pain relief and engendering overall wellbeing.
