Peaks of Health Welcomes New Member to Staff
Peaks of
Health Metabolic Medical Center, in Largo, is pleased to announce Bobbie
Wilson, APRN, FNP-C has joined their medical staff. Introduced to medicine at a
young age, Wilson recently accomplished her lifelong goal of becoming a Family
Nurse Practitioner.
An intern
for Peaks of Health during her APRN training, Wilson became enamored with
integrative medicine. Now, she brings her years of training and personal
knowledge of health disparities to benefit Peaks’ patients.
Originally
from the islands of Hawaii, Wilson graduated from Usha Kundu, MD College of
Health–University of West Florida. Her residencies, internships and
apprenticeships include Women’s Medical Center, San Juan Health Partners Urgent
Care, Children’s National Hospital and STaRN West Florida. An avid volunteer,
she received the U. S. Presidential Volunteer Service award and the nationwide
Disaster Relief Team award, among others.
Facing her
own health challenges has given Wilson the empathy to help patients achieve
their optimal outcome. Also well trained in aesthetics, she is now accepting
patients for that area of Peaks’ practice as well as weight loss.
