Letter From the Publisher
The essential rhythms of my life are like comfortable old friends: dependable; familiar; a natural part of who I am. With the annual return of the Spring-Vernal Equinox to our northern hemisphere, my thoughts turn to buds, birds and bees in the palm trees. It’s “spring ahead” time, so remember to move your clocks one hour forward before retiring on March 11; Daylight Savings Time officially begins at 2 a.m. on the 12th.
Green is sacred to this season and has been since ancient times, largely because it represents the return of the green to the land. On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, shamrocks and leprechauns will once again enhance our lighthearted green imaginations.
This month’s NA Tampa Bay is an inspiring storehouse of knowledge with a special nod to food sensitivities and holistic eye care. Kathleen Barnes, author of numerous natural health books, gives insight and supportive tips on moving past food sensitivities in her article “Fearless Eating” (page 30). This month’s Healing Ways column features “Holistic Eye Care” (page 36), providing natural ways to improve eye health, considering its connection to overall physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
So get ready to build on your own storehouse of knowledge—personal to planet wide.
As always, open your mind and read on.
