Over the course of three weekly 60-minute classes, you’ll learn the fundamentals of yoga, practice foundational poses and explore what life might look like with a regular yoga practice.

If you’re curious about yoga and ready to make a commitment to your health and wellbeing this year, this workshop series is designed for you! Over the course of three weekly 60-minute classes, you’ll learn the fundamentals of yoga, practice foundational poses and explore what life might look like with a regular yoga practice.

Never tried yoga before? No problem. Not flexible or athletic? You don’t need to be.

This workshop series will introduce yoga history, philosophy and styles; cover the benefits of yoga; and address beginners’ most common questions. We’ll also practice highly accessible foundational poses that are common in many yoga classes, as well as breathwork and meditation. This series is intended to demystify yoga, while at the same time honoring the history, philosophy and heart of yoga. Each 60-minute class builds on the previous, with the last class formatted like a typical Hatha Yoga class offered in many yoga studios and online. Our aim is for students to end this workshop series with a foundational understanding of yoga and the confidence to continue their yoga journey, if they so choose. Join us as we explore the vast world of yoga together. All are welcome, because everyone can do yoga.

$55 for the 3 week series.

$25 Single Class Registration.

Helpful Hints: Wear comfortable, fitted clothing. Arrive 10 minutes prior to the class start time, to allow time for check-in and set-up (both for in-studio and Zoom attendees). Please silence your cell phones when you arrive, or leave your phone in your car.

In-Studio Registrants: Bring a yoga mat and water bottle (other props will be provided at the studio)

At Home Registrants: Have a yoga mat and bottle of water. We also recommend two yoga blocks and a yoga strap/belt (a non-stretchy scarf, cloth belt or hand towel can substitute for a yoga strap).

Yoga is best done on an empty or near-empty stomach.
