Buddhist psychology provides ingenious ways to shift mental attitudes from states of loneliness, unhappiness, and anxiety to experiences of confidence, inner peace, and inner strength. In this course, we will investigate time-tested strategies for training the mind in the positive, can-do attitudes of Buddhism. Become empowered to use these meditations both quietly in your own time and throughout the busyness and hectic pace of daily life. This course will serve as an excellent introduction to Buddhist Psychology and meditation, and is also a great opportunity to explore the text How to Understand the Mind by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
