Welcome to The Healthy Food Movement, a
wealth of positive info as to how the pandemic is helping us become more
self-sustainable, not only growing healthier foods where we live, but
also finding ways to get these foods to others in need. We are indeed
blessed in Tampa Bay as we have access to many local growers, farmers
markets and community food stores purveying all manner of fresh local
foods. As the industrial food system falters, we find ways to supplant
the old.
These
days, taking timeouts often—allowing the now to simply be—can be
cathartic in ways yet to be discovered. As a regular time-outer,
“Unplugging brings us back to our breath, aligns us with our true North
and prompts our blood pressure to drop a few numbers,” shares writer
Marlaina Donato in The Art of Doing Nothing.
Skin is our biggest organ and “absorbs”. Steering clear of skincare products that include toxins is the gist. In the article, That Natural Glow, writer Donato includes natural and organic skincare recommendations that are more in line with “whole health”.
On a more sobering note, and for leading-edge, vital information, read Jeffrey Smith on the Threat of Gene-Edited Microbes. Thank you, Mr. Smith; this should indeed be taken to Washington.
As always, with an open heart and an open mind, I hope you enjoy reading on.
