In 2022, we must all enter
into ONE partnership [for our planet] to save our HOME, to paraphrase Earth Day
President Kathleen Rogers. Fifty-two years into the actual Earth Day
recognition of the dire need for constructive human interaction, this year on April
22, we collectively and formally honor our home—Mother Earth. Let us become as
sustainable as possible in an ever-evolving world, meaning establishing and
maintaining a healthy individual and collective consciousness. Read Earth Day 2022 for local happenings.
Creating and maintaining “space”
is another topic of keen value. Be it wild space in nature or creating such an
ambience in one’s own backyard, space is needed for freedom. Too many people,
too much clutter, one too many ‘things’ cause anxiety and eventually
destruction. Space, wild and otherwise, is needed for sanity and emotional
wellbeing. Reading Wild Places is a
good start, followed by Technology Meets Nature, with the suggestion of more than 6,300 apps bringing us fauna and
flora up-close.
“Everything is connected and
the ecological crisis is a spiritual crisis. The healing of me and the healing
of you and the healing of Earth are bound together.” Commit to be what you wish
to see. Seeking peace? Be Peace. Seeking love? Be Love. Read Brian Sauder on Faith-Based Grassroots Change, from the bottom-up and the top-down.
As always, with an open
heart-mind, please enjoy.
