Letter from the Publisher September 2021
Debbey Wilson
Time flies when you’re keeping up and having fun. It’s a matter of balance, as readers of this magazine come to know. Every issue is inspirational, its potential empowerment divine. With this September issue, we welcome the promise of Autumn 2021 and a whole crop of good news and views.
Creative approaches and developments in the natural health community continue to astound me. As ever, this month’s Natural Awakenings Tampa Bay is packed with insights on how to achieve holistic health via natural healing, here, now and beyond.
September is National Yoga Month and our Bay Area is especially dynamic in this arena. There is an awesome array of yoga centers throughout our community, with the cream of the crop represented on these pages. Increasing numbers of us are coming to understand that the practice of yoga can have a profound effect on holistic well-being, along with the enhanced self-awareness, stress reduction and healing balance it promotes.
In this month’s feature article, Art’s Embrace: Healing Through Creativity, writer Sandra Yeyati offers a delightful overview of an exciting and emerging healing form with enormous potential.
As always, with an open heart and an open mind, I hope you enjoy reading on.
