Nature’s Food Patch Market & Café (The Patch), with locations in Clearwater and Downtown Dunedin, has been chosen as a Progressive Grocer’s Outstanding Independent honoree. This honor was given due to the essential role The Patch has played to ease the pains of the pandemic for the consumer, showcasing exemplary actions towards serving the community.

Since March 2020, The Patch has implemented a number of new concepts, innovations and operations with respect to their online technology, including their Patch Curbside Pickup program. This allowed consumers to continue to receive senior and wellness discounts, save on in-store sales and earn rewards. By offering this additional service with all the bells and whistles that traditionally come with shopping in-store, The Patch was able to continue their historical efforts of providing enthusiastic and courteous service to their new online family.

The Patch also won the 2020 title for Creative Loafing’s ‘Best of the Bay’ Best Health Food Market and Best Salad Bar, in addition to being voted Best Health Food Store by the community in the Tampa Bay Times ‘Best of the Best’ campaign for the second year in a row.
