Letter From the Publisher
Gratitude is the first word that comes to mind this month. We all have a hurricane Irma story. I have my own, but nothing compares to our fellow Floridians further south. The Tampa Bay area was spared. We send many thanks to our Governor Rick Scott, police, fire and rescue and everyone else on alert to help out during this time of upheaval. We are very fortunate to have our beautiful cities and beaches intact.
It is exciting this month to unveil the new Natural Awakenings corporate logo. I could hardly contain myself five months ago when it was first revealed. I even asked for permission to run it in the September issue, but was denied. At long last, here it is, gracing our October 2017 cover.

For getaways close to home, our community is ripe with opportunity. The natural healing movement is affecting positive growth here in Tampa Bay and beyond. Who could ask for more?
As always, open your mind and read on.
