Are Your Vitamins Working For You?

We all know that our bodies need vitamins, and apparently we are using them aplenty as the supplement industry is a multibillion dollar business. Yet, are they effective? Are we reaping optimal benefits? Let’s explore.
Every day, we are faced with pollutants, poisons, toxins, free radicals and oxidants that promote faster aging, less energy and the potential for developing chronic diseases and cancer. These radicals are absorbed through our skin, respiratory and digestive systems. Vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts are capable of cleaning, removing radicals, toxins and oxidants so that oxygen can flow back to the cells, restoring normal production of energy to promote body function and a healthy immune system. However, eating healthy and taking oral vitamins and supplements are not enough to replenish our cells. Why? The problem is not how many vitamins and supplements are ingested, but rather how much is actually absorbed.
Vitamins are absorbed in only two small places: the pylorus and the duodenum. Correct absorption also requires specific acidity levels and certain factors. If we ingest more vitamins in pill, powder or liquid form, there is minimal effect since many nutrients are lost through gastrointestinal uptake. This is one of the reasons why oral vitamins are not FDA approved.
So, how do we solve this problem and deliver the needed vitamins, minerals and supplements to our bodies? The answer is to bypass the stomach and take vitamins and supplements in the form of injectables, which include painless injections or IVs that introduce these vital ingredients directly into our bloodstream and cells. Taking vitamins and supplements in this way guarantees that you get the full benefits and optimum results for detoxifying your body systems, reviving your metabolic function, increasing energy levels and restoring cellular function, as well as preventing and countering disease. Due to this fact, injectables are FDA approved.
In our many years of clinical experience at Orthomolecular Nutrition and Wellness, we have seen a wide variety of medical conditions, from chronic diseases to acute disorders. One of the best therapies that we have successfully used is injection therapy since, as previously stated, it is the most effective way to introduce vitamins, minerals, homeopathics and herbs into the body at a cellular level.
What are the advantages of intravenous vitamin therapy?
Nutrients are delivered directly to cells through the bloodstream
With intravenous nutrient therapy, as soon as your infusion starts, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients are quickly circulated through your bloodstream and delivered to cells where they are immediately available for use. It’s like "direct deposit"; in IV vitamin therapy, there’s no waiting for the nutrients to clear the digestive system and the liver.
Fewer side effects
Intravenous vitamin therapy bypasses the stomach and intestines. This means no upset stomach or intestinal problems, like cramps, nausea or diarrhea, which sometimes results from taking high doses of certain vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C and Magnesium.
Allows for high-dose therapy necessary for effective treatment outcomes
Research has shown that there is specific blood or tissue concentration of certain nutrients that must be achieved in order to be pharmacologically active. Vitamin C is a good example; numerous studies show high concentrations of Vitamin C are required in the serum and intracellular fluid before it can exert its beneficial effects. These high concentrations simply cannot be achieved by taking the nutrients orally; the bulk of vitamins and minerals swallowed in pill or liquid form is excreted, with very little actually absorbed into the bloodstream. Complicating this further is that many patients have conditions that impair their intestinal absorption in the first place. Finally, as noted above, many patients cannot tolerate high doses of certain vitamins and minerals because these upset their stomachs. Therefore, only intravenous vitamin therapy can directly deliver pharmacologically effective doses of the required nutrients.
Treatment of specific medical conditions based on clinical evidence and/or study data
Intravenous nutrient therapy is not some trendy Los Angeles health fad. The value of IV vitamin therapy has been shown in clinical trials for a plethora of medical conditions. At Orthomolecular Nutrition, we customize our holistic cocktails to the individual patient’s needs, according to a highly accurate diagnostic process that includes The Whole Body Scan, our proprietary body scanning technology, as well as blood and saliva panels.
Our physicians have identified seven areas of health upon which we can have a rapid impact to improve the quality of a patient’s life. The seven customized holistic cocktail injections are: Stress Relief, Weight Loss, Energy Boost, Immune Boost, Pain Relief, Hormone Balancing, Memory Boost.
Orthomolecular Nutrition is offering a special on each of these seven injections for the months of August and September. Normally, each injection would cost $50. The special will save you over 50%, bringing the price down to $19.95.
